Send gifts from Slack

Yes. Once Gratos is added to your Slack workspace, your team can:

• Talk to Gratos with the /gratos command, in a direct message, or by mentioning @Gratos in a channel. The app also has a Home tab.
• Send a gift to one person with the send form. Gratos finds a real gift from a real store.
• Start a campaign with the campaign form, for a group of people. Gratos suggests a gift for each person, and you review the list. Each gift then waits for its own approval of the exact total.
• Approve or cancel each gift with a button.

Gratos places each order on the store's own website after the approval, and the store ships it to the person.

Yes. A member approves gifts within their own limit. Above it, the approval goes to an owner or admin of the Gratos workspace, who can approve or cancel it.

Each approval is for the exact total: the store's price, tax and shipping. Your approval takes effect when you finish the card payment step, which may open in your browser. If the store's total at checkout differs by more than 3 cents, Gratos stops before paying and nothing is charged (How Gratos buys). Every approval is recorded with who approved, the amount and the time.

With Gratos, the ask, the campaign and the approval all start in Slack, and the approval is for the exact total of a real gift.
