Gratos by text

1. Get an invite. Get early access below, and we'll email you when your invite is ready.
2. Sign up for Gratos.
3. Verify your phone in the app.
4. Link it on the texting setup page at app.gratos.ai/text.
5. Text Gratos. Link your phone in the app and we'll give you the number to text.

Your phone number is your account. If you text Gratos before your number is linked, Gratos replies once with a link to the setup page.

When you start texting, Gratos asks for your OK to process your texts, which go to our AI providers, and to accept the Terms and Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older. Reply AGREE to go ahead.

Gratos never starts the conversation. It replies to your texts. Once 24 hours pass after your last text, Gratos waits until you text again.

Gratos's welcome text puts it this way: "Anything you can do in the app, you can do here by text." You can:

• Ask for a gift for someone you've saved.
• Add or update a person: their likes, dislikes, sizes and things never to send them.
• See upcoming dates.
• Approve a gift. See below.
• Cancel a gift.
• Check an order's status.

Never-send items and saved dislikes apply to text requests exactly as in the app. Gratos won't save allergy or medical details to a person's page, by text or anywhere else in Gratos. Gratos remembers the recent conversation, so you can pick up where you left off.

A texted "yes" starts the approval. Gratos then texts you a link, and you finish the payment step there. It's the same step as in the app. See how it works.

• Limits. There's a daily limit on gifts approved by text, and larger amounts need a code we text you.
• You start every conversation. Gratos replies to your texts. Once 24 hours pass after your last text, it waits until you text again.
• You can stop at any time. Reply STOP to end texts, and START to resume them. Reply HELP for help, or email support@gratos.ai.

• Attachments. Gratos reads text. Photos and other attachments aren't read.
• Numbers outside the US. Texting needs a US phone number.
• Texts out of the blue. Gratos doesn't start conversations or send reminders on its own schedule. Home in the app shows what's coming up.
